The Full Story

About

ARTRO is a platform dedicated to promoting contemporary Montenegrin art and preserving traditional artistic crafts as part of our intangible cultural heritage.

Our mission is to connect Montenegrin artists with the international stage, enhance their visibility, and create a space for creative dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression.

Through exhibitions, workshops, international projects, and collaboration with the diaspora, we build bridges between local creators and the world—driven by the belief that cultural identity flourishes through the exchange of experiences, ideas, and artistic practices.

About The Gallery

The ARTRO Gallery will be an open space where tradition meets contemporary artistic expression.

Through carefully curated exhibitions, visitors will have the opportunity to discover works by Montenegrin artists from both the country and the diaspora, as well as explore reinterpretations of traditional craftsmanship within a contemporary context.

The gallery will serve as a place of inspiration, exchange, and education—where artists, art enthusiasts, and the wider public come together to shape a new vision for Montenegro’s cultural scene.
